In short, we are a General Contracting business specializing in kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations and custom cabinets in Whistler, Squamish, North Vancouver & West Vancouver.
All our custom cabinetry are built in-house within our workshop located in Squamish.
For us, the single most important element is to deliver what we promised & do it in a manner which earns your trust as well as demonstrating our passion for what we do. We operate the same philosophy with our suppliers and sub-trades who we have carefully selected over the years based not only on their skills and quality products, but also because of their professional attitude.
We greatly respect that each and every home owner has a vast array of choices available when it comes to selecting a professional to execute their home renovation vision. Ultimately our goal is to ensure you and your property are looked after and treated with respect at all times. We do not operate a “hard sell” philosophy as that is not how we like to be sold to ourselves.

Company owner & contractor – Barry Thomson
I came to Whistler from Scotland for a ski vacation in 2003 and forgot to leave (not really but you know what I mean). I have a degree in Engineering which follows a family tradition of engineering & construction. My grandfather was a civil engineer, my father worked for the same construction firm for 35 years and I renovated 3 homes in Scotland before making the move across the water to BC where I started out by buying a run down house in a great neighbourhood, completely from top to bottom & selling for a handsome profit. One thing that has not changed in the 22+ years that I have personally been renovating homes is a passion for what I do and the desire to always develop my skills.
As a certified Canadian ski instructor, snowboarder, keen mountain biker and hiker / runner, when I landed in BC 13+ years ago it felt like I was coming home … even though I had never been to Canada before. Having spent significant time traveling and living in the likes of Australia, Paris, French Alps, Netherlands, London & the Bay Area, I have developed a diverse taste in architecture and design.
A little more about us…
Although we have a diverse background in home renovations as well as the occasional smaller commercial project, more recently we have focused on bathroom & kitchen renovations in part to take advantage of our in-house cabinet building workshop based in Squamish. However it is very common for such projects to morph in to something else.
As well as being members of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce, Squamish Chamber of Commerce and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), we are strong believers in supporting local businesses wherever possible with the majority of our sub-trades being based in Squamish or Whistler. Inevitably due to availability many of our products & materials are purchased from suppliers in the Vancouver area and Vancouver Island. We are also a Better Business Bureau accredited business with an A+ rating. As required for all contractors, we carry business licenses for each of the areas we operate in as well as full commercial liability insurance cover for $5 million and of course WCB cover for our employees, as do our licensed sub-trades. To date we have never had reason to make use of the insurance policy … but it is there should the need ever arise!
